The Common App opens August 1st for the 2019-2020 admissions season! It's not too early to start exploring the writing prompts which remain unchanged from last year. For parents, check out the neat tool that allows you to create a practice Common App account and explore the site through the eyes of an applicant. This allows you to get a better idea of the Common App process but eliminates the need to log into your student's account and helps to avoid any confusion!

As the date gets closer, it is a good time to decide what type of organizational timeline you will use for the next few months. A shared document, a working spreadsheet, a large calendar, a digital organizer, or a good old fashioned handwritten list. Whatever works best for you, your child, and your lifestyle. But regardless of what method you choose, be sure to choose one. Remember for the next few months organization and deadlines are critical to a stress-free and successful admissions season.
